My name is Jade Thigpen. I was born May 24, 2002. My interest include music, reading, embroidery, gaming, baking/cooking, sewing, and skin/self care. I am a enthusiastic, highly motivated college student with proven leadership capabilities, who likes to take the initiative and seek out new challenges. I’m currently looking to develop experience and skills in the medical field in hopes of becoming a dermatologist. I enjoy meeting new people and finding ways to help them have an uplifting experience. I am dedicated, outgoing, as well as a all-around team player. People find me to be a mellow, self-motivated scholar with excellent communication skills.

For the past, several years I have been a dually enrolled student at Lovejoy High School. I also was partially enrolled at Atlanta technical college and working towards an associate degree in computer programing. For the last four years I have been a member of my school’s magnet program of math and science. I often volunteered as a spokesperson and coding teacher for the magnet program. I toured the local schools to educate the students about the Magnet program and share the opportunities that were offered.  I also mentored the students and assisted with their transition into the program, while teaching coding to elementary students.
